Hi co-chairs,

We have addressed all the comments received so far in the following revisio=
n (http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-xu-l3vpn-virtual-subnet-fib-reduction-0=
1).=20

Major changes since the -00 version include:

1) incorporate Wim's proposal about how to install some particular remote h=
ost routes by default.
2) add a new co-author (Wim Henderickx).

We co-authors believe this revision is stable enough for WG adoption.

Best regards,
Xiaohu (on behalf of all co-authors)

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Layer 3 Virtual Private Networks Working Group of the IETF.

Title : IANA registry for PMSI Tunnel Type code points
        Authors : Loa Andersson
                          George Swallow
	Filename : draft-ietf-l3vpn-pmsi-registry-04.txt
	Pages : 4
	Date : 2014-08-12

Abstract:
RFC 6514 created a space of Tunnel Type code points for a new BGP
attribute called the "P-Multicast Service Interface Tunnel (PMSI
Tunnel) attribute". However the RFC did not create an IANA registry
   for these.

There now is need to make further code point allocations from this
name space. This document serves to update RFC 65124 in that it
creates an IANA registry for that purpose.

The IETF datatracker status page for this draft is:
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-l3vpn-pmsi-registry/

There's also a htmlized version available at:

A diff from the previous version is available at:
http://www.ietf.org/rfcdiff?url2=draft-ietf-l3vpn-pmsi-registry-04

Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission
until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org.

	Filename : draft-ietf-l3vpn-pmsi-registry-05.txt
	Pages : 4
	Date : 2014-08-12

Abstract:
RFC 6514 created a space of Tunnel Type code points for a new BGP
attribute called the "P-Multicast Service Interface Tunnel (PMSI
Tunnel) attribute". However the RFC did not create an IANA registry
   for these.

There now is need to make further code point allocations from this
name space. This document serves to update RFC 6514 in that it
creates an IANA registry for that purpose.

No "updates" metadata reference to update RFC4364

Corrected Text
--------------
This document updates RFC4364 (and associated metadata links)

Notes
-----
RFC4659 provides an extension to the standard defined in RFC4364 to add IPv6 support to a standard that was originally IPv4-only. This metadata link will make it clearer for implementers that both standards are necessary for a full implementation.

Technical Summary

RFC 6514 created a space of Tunnel Type code points for a new BGP
attribute called the "P-Multicast Service Interface Tunnel (PMSI
Tunnel) attribute". However the RFC did not create an IANA registry
   for these.

There now is need to make further code point allocations from this

   purpose.

Working Group Summary

The L3VPN, MPLS and IDR Chairs agreed to make the first version of this
Document a WG Document. Revision 02 was then Last Called in the 3 WGs.
No controversy related to that document nor to the way it was processed.

Document Quality

This document only asks for the creation of a registry by the IANA.
It is short, well written and has no further implication.

Personnel

Martin Vigoureux, L3VPN co-chair is the Document Shepherd
Adrian Farrel is the Responsible (Routing) Area Director
